Sumday is a Tasmanian-based start-up backed by leading VCs including Blackbird. We’re building accounting software that redefines what accounting is, helping companies account for more than dollars and cents! And we’re starting with carbon accounting.

You’ll be joining a small yet mighty team, including our co-founder and product lead, CTO, Designer, 4 other amazing developers and a QA engineer who work exceptionally well together to build a product that drives real change.

We need every business accounting for their climate impact and Sumday exists to make this happen. Our software helps businesses of all sizes understand their carbon impact as part of their normal business process. It’s high impact work that brings the same rigour and trust to this space as we expect from financial accounting.

The role

We’re looking for a Flutter & .NET wizard to join our team and help us drive our mission forward 🧙‍♀️🌎 As a key member of the team, you’ll help create magic under the guise of accounting software!

You’ll play a critical part in the development process and will be involved from ideation, discovery through to delivery. You’ll have strong technical skills and and be comfortable identifying and communicating technical opportunities and risks.

This position demands a blend of technical skill, creativity, and ideally, a passion for sustainability.

Using Flutter for front end web app development and .NET for backend services, you'll develop solutions that are not only robust and scalable but also make a real difference in the fight against climate change.
